I feel like I made a good decision to get my varicose veins removed at Veincentre Stoke. Not only were the staff friendly and helpful, but also the prices represent excellent value for money compared with many other private clinics. The vascular surgeon, Mr. Srinivasamurthy was very skilled and listened to my concerns and acted accordingly. I am very happy with the results I got, not only in terms of an improved cosmetic result but also the alleviation of symptoms such as aching and tired legs. I think the company was very open and honest about costs throughout my experience there. The only thing I would have done differently is that I would have had EVLA and Avulsions done on two different dates. I would advise anyone who is thinking of having Avulsions in addition to EVLA to have the procedures done on a separate dates because there is a limit to the amount of local anaesthetic that can be used and I did experience some pain as the quota was getting low. I think this could perhaps have been reiterated by the professionals at consultation, but in fairness, it is mentioned in the information on the website so be sure to read the information carefully about your chosen procedure as is very easy to not take everything in as there is a lot of information to read, so be absolutely clear about everything yourself before your procedures and not to rely too much on being told as these things can be overlooked. All in all I am very happy with my experience at this time and I am looking forward to not feeling self as conscious about how my legs look in summer, so thank you Veincentre.

From the time I contacted the Veincentre Newcastle under Lyme to discuss the treatment of an unsightly varicose vein in my leg I can only praise their professionalism, customer service and treatment provided by the whole team especially Dr Ananth Krishnan and Hannah. The Vein Centre Stoke is extremely well organised and professional. From initial consultation, procedure and follow up, the staff fully explained the procedures they were undertaking and why and the aftercare management which was required. The results of the treatment were excellent with all discomfort gone. There is, in fact, no evidence of there ever being varicose veins. The two staff involved in my care were Dr Ananth Krishnan and Helen Burndred both of whom were extremely proficient and gave me confidence in the treatment they were providing. I would highly recommend the Vein Centre Stoke for anyone considering treatment.

Very happy with the outcome of my treatment. I had endovenous laser ablation and foam sclerotherapy on two veins on my right leg .I had been having a lot of pain and difficulty in walking. The appointment was made quickly once I decided to have the treatment. The first consultation was very good. Everything was explained clearly to me and all the staff I met were professional and friendly. The actual procedure went well with only moderate discomfort. I did have a lot of pain over the initial couple of weeks, after the treatment, along with extensive bruising. The latter may have been exacerbated as I am on blood thinners. The pain eased away as did the bruising and I slowly increased walking exercise which seemed to help. By the time I was due for my review I was told that everything was fine and needed no further treatment. I am thrilled with the outcome. The offending veins have disappeared and already I have little or no discomfort ..the problems I had before have all gone. I would not hesitate to have the treatment again if other veins flared up causing similar problems, which hopefully will not be necessary. The initial problems I had have certainly been worth the excellent result.

First class from the initial phone call to the follow up appointment. I had the unilateral EVLA foam sclerotherapy in my right leg and it is absolutely remarkable, 100 times better in appearance and the leg is less painful and the skin less itchy. I am a very keen cyclist so I can now wear bib-shorts without fear of people staring at my unsightly leg which I have to say was pretty awful in appearance. Don't hesitate to seek treatment from Mr David West because he his extremely talented and first class in his profession. I would also point out that the actual procedure is not painful just uncomfortable but the results are well worth it

I have suffered with varicose veins from a young age they were gradually getting a lot worse . To the point I was constantly hiding my legs and they were getting me down . This is when I contacted the Vein centre in stoke . From the initial phone call regarding costings and procedures , the staff were very informative and helpful .I made an appointment , had a consultation with Dr David West , who explained in depth the procedures I would be having . I returned a few weeks later , very nervous but lots of reassurance given , had EVLA and Schelotherapy , hardly any pain , was out after 45 minutes . Advised to wear the surgical stockings . After a couple of weeks the large bubbly vein looks great !!! . Returned for a check up and rest of my treatment , in and out again in about 30 minutes . Can not wait to see the full results in a few months time . I would highly recommend the vein centre in stoke , from DR David West , the lovely Nurses , and reception staff . I felt very safe with all the covid measures in place , I would highly recommend anybody thinking about it get it done !!! Thanks again Alison Appleby

This was something I’d wanted to do for some time I did some research and booked with The Vein centre. I have not been disappointed, it’s been a brilliant experience from the first point of contact. If you’re looking for a hospital that deals with just this kind of complaint, look no further Mr Devaraj Srinivasamurthy and his team are by far the best I’ve dealt with. Thank you Vein centre.
